Onyx Herrera Named Monster.com NFL Director of Fandemonium

On April 24, 2009, Michael Strahan and the Monster.com Dept. of Fandemonium board delivered the announcement DOF fans were eagerly awaiting as Monster.com and the NFL named Onyx Herrera the first-ever NFL Director of Fandemonium.

Hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii, Onyx bleeds Minnesota purple and represented the Vikings faithful throughout the Dept. of Fandemonium competition with his high energy, outgoing personality and NFL knowledge.

On Saturday, he got right on the job, announcing the Vikings second round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft and talking to fans outside of Radio City Music Hall. If you didn’t catch Onyx announcing the Vikings’ second round pick during the NFL Network’s draft broadcast, click here to watch.

Monster is looking for the NFL Director of Fandemonium

The snacks are gone. The commercials have run. And the champion has been determined. With Super Bowl XLIII over, the days will be long until the 2009 NFL Draft. Fortunately, that’s just enough time to enter for a chance become the NFL’s “Director of Fandemonium”—a position that will reward for pigskin passion.
