The 1 in 3 People campaign is a national health awareness initiative developed by Novartis to educate consumers about the importance of testing for, and treating, high blood pressure (HBP). The campaign is designed to raise awareness of high blood pressure through a compelling viral video illustrating the prevalence of HBP that will be available on www.1in3people.com. Visitors to this site can also access important information on high blood pressure diagnosis, treatment and management.
Approximately 75 million adults in the U.S. (that’s nearly 1 in 3) have high blood pressure, a serious chronic condition that, when uncontrolled, is a leading risk factor for cardiovascular disease and is associated with a higher risk of heart attack, heart failure and stroke
With nearly one in three adults in the U.S. living with high blood pressure, we all share a vital responsibility to raise awareness of this condition.
