MiND-blowing

Finally, the product. After a long, kooky journey through The MiNDZone we arrive at the product. The Clarion MiND is a real force to be reckoned with. This next-generation mobile device boasts a heavy set of features and delivers advanced navigation and entertainment capabilities based on Internet connectivity. This is not your everyday navi device. From the Press Relase:

The Clarion MiND is the first device to integrate advanced navigation and PC-like entertainment capability in one portable unit, offering sophisticated features that include GPS navigation, high-speed Internet connection, and digital content access and management.

True to its word the Clarion MiND has departed from the category of GPS device, loaded with features and serious digital media management capability, it’s a mobile media device more than anything. After setting up the WiFi in a matter of seconds, the gadget loaded YouTube clips, MySpace pages, maps, and the like with blazing speed and crystal clarity. This is a minute percentage of its capabilities and it is highly suggested that you try and get your hands on one of these bad boys ASAP. In the meantime, spread the word and grab some embeddable media after the jump!

Strange things do happen. Enter the MiNDZone

It’s true, strange things do happen. Kind of like these MiNDZone videos. You may remember one of them from Itchy Melons. So, WTF are these videos about?

Well, it turns out that Clarion released these videos to pique some interest in their new mobile media/GPS device, the Clarion MiND. The videos were designed to showcase various features of the product in real life situations, albeit in very, very abstract ways. Viewers were subsequently led to this mini-site, TheMiNDZone.TV, for some more videos that explained the relevance to the product and connect the dots so-to-speak. You still with me? Good, more details on the product soon to come…

MTV: What The Flip episodes!

MTV gave 100 Flip camcorders to 100 college students around the country and told them to get inspired and surprise us. Different themes guided them, some were open-ended, others were scavenger hunts and others were questions only they could answer. See for yourself, all their footage is here on WHATtheFLIP.mtv.com
