As part of its continued support of the U.S. Ski Team, Audi today announced that it will produce an exclusive, daily behind-the-scenes webcast, powered by Justin.tv from the U.S. Ski Team House in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada for the 2010 Winter Games.
U.S. Ski Team members TJ Lanning and Resi Stiegler, who are currently recovering from injury, are on the ground in Whistler to support their teammates and will host the daily, 15-minute webisodes titled “Live at the Lodge with TJ and Resi.” The duo will provide an inside perspective on the action on the hill, while collecting personal footage for a short documentary to air after the athletes have returned home. The webisodes will kick-off on Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. PT/ 9:30 p.m. ET and stream at the same time each day through Feb. 27 at http://www.facebook.com/audi, http://www.justin.tv/audiski and http://www.usskiteam.com.
The daily webcasts will utilize social networking to create a two-way dialogue with fans, bringing them inside the U.S. Ski Team house. Fans’ questions can be submitted prior to and during the show for Lanning and Stiegler, or any of their interview subjects, via Twitter @audiski, Facebook posts, and YouTube.
Audi of America recently commissioned the documentary film, Truth in Motion: The U.S. Ski Team’s Road to Vancouver, to tell the unique stories of a select group of elite American skiers as they prepared to compete in the 2010 Winter Games. Directed by Brett Morgan, the film premiered on NBC in January, aired on the USA Network and the Universal Sports Network, and is now available for free download on the iTunes store. Audi has sponsored the U.S. Ski Team since 2007.
“Truth in Motion exposed fans to the rigorous process of qualifying for the 2010 Winter Games, and these webisodes give viewers an even deeper insight as the competition begins,” said Scott Keogh, Audi of America Chief Marketing Officer. “With an emphasis on performance and technology, Audi is a natural sponsor for the U.S. Ski Team, and we are excited and proud to be able to show fans the pinnacle of their athletic performance.”
TJ Lanning and Resi Stiegler have emerged as top U.S. Alpine skiers. At the opening downhill of the 2009 season, at Lake Louise, Canada, Lanning scored a career-best ninth place. Lanning will miss the 2010 Winter Games while recuperating from neck and leg injuries suffered during the World Cup downhill event in Lake Louise in November. Stiegler has represented the United States at every level of alpine ski racing — Topolino, Whistler Cup, Junior Worlds, World Cup, World Championships and the Olympics. Stiegler injured her left knee when she crashed after hooking a gate during giant slalom training in November. Both are looking forward to providing insiders’ perspectives to the games.

Rally America Crew Holds a 2010 Mustang Showdown
The last thing youd expect to see zooming through Bemidji, Minn. at the Ojibwe Forests Rally is a 2010 Ford Mustang, or any Mustang for that matter. J.B. Niday, managing director of Rally America, had not yet experienced a 2010 Mustang at any of his Rally America competitions, but that was about to change.
Niday unselfishly chose to unleash his inner Mustang with Fords 10 Unleashed campaign through his two good friends Mike Hurst, technical director for Rally America, and Mark Utecht, one of Rally Americas top two wheel drive competitors.
There are no ovals, pace cars or rain delays in Rally racing. The sport features real cars racing against the clock on closed-off sections of real roads that are usually unpaved and unforgiving. Gravel logging roads, mountain passes, well groomed forest roads are what make up the tracks for rally drivers. Events can last several days and cover hundreds of miles through rain, snow and day or night. A rally car is the ultimate real world sports car: one that is capable of high speed and incredible handling on any road surface and in every weather condition.
Niday organized a head-to-head rally in a 2010 Ford Mustang on four stages of the Ojibwe Forests Rally course winner takes all.
Hurst and Utecht are friends off the track and deadly on it. Their friendly conversation of recent years has been about who is behind the wheel of the 86 Mustang that Hurst reluctantly sold to Utecht several years ago and this challenge would settle their Mustang rally feud once and for all.
Hurst last drove his cherished 86 Mustang in a rally in February of 2004. Utecht has proven he knows how to drive a Mustang in the woods by winning the Rally America Group 5 class in his region ever since he bought the 86 Mustang from Hurst.
To find out who earned lifetime bragging rights and also took home use of the 2010 Mustang for a year, check out the full HD video chronicling Mustang Rally at the2010mustang.com.

Father and Son take ultimate Mustang road trip in the latest 2010 Mustang Unleashed video diary
The dream of hitting the open road and taking that unexpected turn appeals to the Mustang side in all of us. The Ford Mustang brings generations together unlike any vehicle on the market and Ford was able to make the dream of Joseph Cram and his father come true with the ultimate unexpected turn.
Joseph Cram, known as Hot Rod Joe, and his father Ralph Cram always dreamt of taking a road trip together in a Ford Mustang. In fact, the Houston resident and his father spent years rebuilding their very own 68 Mustang Coupe with the hopes to someday drive the vehicle together across country, until they were forced to sell their vehicle due to the tough economic times. 16 years later, the Crams dream of cruising in a Mustang became a reality when they were given the opportunity to take a road trip from Houston to Detroit and participate in the Woodward Dream Cruise – one of the largest automotive gatherings in the world.
The Crams experience was made possible by participating in Ford Motor Company’s “The 10 Unleashed” program, which encouraged consumers to submit entries describing their ultimate Mustang dream experience in 250 words or less. Videos chronicling the father and son unleashing their Mustang sides are featured at the2010mustang.com.

“Prepare to waste time at work with one of the coolest web apps Ford has ever come up with.”
– allfordmustangs.com

One week after Team Detroit launched the Mustang Customizer on the2010mustang.com, over 16,000 custom Mustangs had been saved to the gallery even though Ford hadn’t spent a dime of advertising money on it yet. All it took was a single mention of it on a Mustang forum the first day. By the end of the week, 30 unique sites and forums had picked up the news and were posting their own creations. Not to mention, the countless other sites that were simply re-posting others’ stories about it.
So why is it so popular? For one, nobody’s done anything like it before. At any point, four people can be working together and chatting to create a custom ride in the community mode. And that’s just in one room. As more people come to the site, more rooms are created to accommodate them. But if you’d prefer create on your own there’s also a single mode to create your personal dream Mustang. And it really will be all yours due to the seemingly endless customization possibilities. With 18 categories – including varying degrees of burnout smoke – there’s a good chance your Mustang isn’t going to look anything like the next person’s.
