In other words but a sock in it.

  6. anony Says:

@Hi-coocoocoo just expressed her opinion..you need to shut up and take english lessons first..

  7. Hi Says:

    Oh really?
Im not the one who doesnt know how to use ellipse’s.
Maybe your the one who needs to suck my toe.

[...] Old Navy Weekly Keeps Truckin’ and Dapper Item of the Week! by Nicolenicole@m80im.com September 2nd, 2009 [...]

  9. Everyone has own opinion.... Says:

    Lol. Everyone has gone crazy.

  10. WhoKnows Says:

I’d say the apostrophe errors by Hi (no apostrophe in the contractions I’m or doesn’t, and then an unneeded apostrophe in ellipses), as well as the misuse of “your” when “you’re” should have been used, added to the run-on sentence in the first post and the misspelling of “but” instead of “put” trump the accidental extra period in anony’s post.

But I’m just a college-educated English/Writing major who would rather read legitimate comments than complain about who makes more grammatical errors, so perhaps we could return to that??

  11. Leon Says:

I also want the $75 off $100 back. With or without spelling or grammar mistakes.

  12. hahahahahaha Says:

High five to whoever gave moms-coupons(toad224) several negative feedbacks on ebay!! toad went and made his feedback private so it must be pretty bad!! hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!

  13. FreakyFrank Says:

You folks ready to spend half the night waiting on coupons you will never get? I can’t wait to read all your negative comments tomorrow. Boohoo Toad got them all! Ha Ha

  14. ThriftyCent Says:

    Good Luck tonight everyone!

  15. Ready For The Reset Says:

FreakyFrank you seem like a horrible person.

  16. crystalle Says:

true, it isn’t fair that toad is getting the coupons, but i’ve actually purchased some from him on ebay. i am still saving money by paying them.

  17. Mark Says:

I am officially done looking for coupons on ONWeekly. Just a few seconds after the page finally loads, all of the good coupons are gone. Check the chats. Hardly anybody got the page to load before the coupons were gone. Somebody is definitely cheating here. Less than 10 minutes after the 65’s and 45’s were gone, Ebay sellers already had mutliples of these coupons listed for sale. How, if tons of people had trouble even getting to the site tonight, and even if they did they couldn’t get the coupons to load after they found them, did the same bunch of clowns on ebay end up with so many coupons???? I’m done with Old Navy. Screw this. Sears has much better clothes anyway. Pass it on to all of your ONWeekly friends. This sucks!!

  18. Mark Says:

I couldn’t even get one decent coupon tonight. I’m on here every freaking Thursday night and same crap different week. I clicked on the 65, and low and behold the screen freezes. So I refresh and click again and it’s gone. Unless Old Navy fixes the issues with hackers, many, many people will be following me out the door of Old Navy. SLAM!

  19. Couldn't Have Said it Better Says:

Mark I’m with you. I’m done. It’s no fun anymore. Just can’t compete with the scripters. I’m going to spend my money at other stores that have better quality clothes. Screw you ON and your customer support, IT and marketing team for not taking care of the scripting that has been going on for the past few months.

  20. nancy Says:

I am about to be right behind you mark this is just ridiculous to even go to the site to waist our time knowing that week after week it has the same out come.Yes you may get a coupon but most of us are trying for the larger ones and I guess it’s just become impossible do.I am amazed at how lucky those are that post them on ebay.Guess I don’t have the touch.LOL

  21. nancy Says:

Gonna mosey over to the ebay coral and see how many are posted already.HAHA

  22. Yvonne Says:

I can’t believe this just happened AGAIN. 5 weeks ago I tried old navy to get a coupon so I could go school shopping for my kids, then 4 weeks ago, then 3, then 2, then 1, and again today. I am still without a decent coupon. I am going straight to the mall this weekend and looking for whatever specials I can find, but I will avoid Old Navy for sure.

  23. Debbie Says:

Old Navy – you were really lazy this week. So I think I’m gonna be a little too lazy to go shopping at your store for a while.

  24. LOLLERSKATES Says:

    http://www.oldnavyweekly.com/deals/xml/list

  25. Melissa Says:

I planned my night around ONW. I have been disappointed in the past since I did not have a Thurs night dedicated to get some great coupons. I was so upset to see that there weren’t any available when they finally loaded. It didn’t even take a few minutes. Then I read other posts on here and it makes me angry to see that there are people selling these q’s for about $11 on Ebay. I checked one Ebay seller and they had 6 of them!! I am appalled with this! Here I am trying to score a great coupon since I am out of work and I wanted to get my children some fall and winter clothes. This will be the first and last Thursday night I will sit here trying to get a coupon and to no avail there wasn’t even a chance to get one!!!

  26. Angie Says:

The Ebay seller have a lot more than just 6 coupons. They keep listing them in lots of 5-10 at a time. I have never, ever got a 65 or 75 off coupon. On moral ground, I sure as hell will never buy one from Ebay. That’s the same as buying stolen gold watches from the nasty guy on the street corner.

  27. Mooba Says:

This promotion did get me in the store but this promotion is also why I wont shop there anymore. The clothing is sub-par at best and only worth it if you have one of the larger amount coupons.

  28. Jaltman Says:

Im so fed up with Old Navy. Lots of other stores have great sales. I dont know why I let myself get caught up in this nonsense. The ONW fever has passed and I am moving on!

  29. Angie Says:

A few months ago I remember seeing a news story about current styles and trends and how Old Navy and Gap are on the list of styles that are considered “out”.

  30. Angie Says:

BTW: IF ALL THE MORONS WOULD PLEASE STOP REVEALING THE LOCATIONS OF THE COUPONS ON CHAT ROOMS DURING THE GAME, THE COUPONS WOULDN’T DISAPPEAR SO QUICK!

  31. Lisa B. Says:

I figured out a few weeks ago that not many people stood a chance to get a decent coupon with people scooping up more than their fair share and selling them. Ebay is the reason I no longer do ONW. ONW is the reason I no longer shop at ON.

  32. AmandaG Says:

I stopped hunting coupons months ago but I still enjoy reading all these comments the day after. I feel sorry for you guys. Soon enough you will vow never to step foot in an old navy store again. $75 off is the only way they could sell that ugly crap anyway.

Old Navy will continue to loose customers each week. It happening already. They are so desperate with those one day wonder sales. Old Navy is a joke!

  33. Rhett Says:

I agree with you all. Old Navy sucks. You couldn’t pay me to shop there now. They have ruined it for me. Im out!

  34. Sjamison Says:

My page wouldn’t load yet again! This thing isn’t even fun anymore. If anyone needs me this weekend I will be at The Childrens Place Labor Day sale. The Halloween costumes there are so cute!

  35. hate you Says:

i hate all you hard core deal hunters. while you are all there without any purpose in life other than stalk the coupon website and grab coupons as soon as possible, normal people who have normal life commitments have no chance of getting a coupon.

I would much rather have scripters get all the coupons and then sell them to people who really need it. at least I have some chance of getting a good deal even after considering coupon costs. now i cant even get a 65 off coupon from ebay because of all of you.

    go do something else..

  36. hate you Says:

and you all also cheat by sharing coupon location on the chat boards you are on. what a big group of cheaters who cry when they are beat by other people.

  37. Frustrated Says:

    hate you,
You must be one of the eBay seller’s to post a ridiculous comment like that. What a joke. Why should people have to pay someone for a coupon he obtained illegally?? It would be different if they were obtained without cheating and abiding by the Old Navy promo rules. Old Navy please end this promo! Look at what this forum has turned into. It used to be alot of fun and now its 95% negative comments about these being sold on eBay. It’s obvious you have no intension of taking action against the eBay sellers. So I plead with you to end this promo. Many of us are financially challenged and as much as my family could really use the larger money saving coupon. I’d rather see you end this promo so the eBay sellers no longer profit from this. They are taking advantage of your customers and profiting from that. Gee, is this wrong???

  38. hate you Says:

    Frustrated :
if you see there are no 65 off coupons on ebay so its not the scripters who you can blame this week. you are just a greedy whining babies and think you are entitled to multiple high value coupons every week. thats all.

and no i am not a ebayer – but yeah i have no problem buying from there if that saves me money.

you are clearly jealous and make no logical sense in your statement. On one hand you are saying you are financially challenged and could use a coupon to save some money. And then you ask old navy to end this promotion. what a moron? a 45 off 100 is not good enough for you? you just think old navy should give you 75 off coupons every week to please you, your highness. Get off your high horse and learn some logical arguments.

no one is forcing you to go to this site or oldnavyweekly.com. just stop coming here and for you the promotion is as good as it never existed. and stop being jealous… it will help you in life..

  39. Andy Says:

No one was able to share any locations for where the coupons were at this week as they were GONE by the time the site loaded for people! How could the 65/100 be gone in seconds?! Well, the answer is obvious – hackers, scripters whatever you want to call them took them. And I agree with the above posters. I am DONE with Old Navy.

  40. Frustrated Says:

    Hate you,
You know these coupons are obtained illegally and the fact that you support that makes you the MORON!!! I would have been thrilled with the $45 off coupon and yes, maybe I am jelous that I didn’t get one. But as I’ve said before, I’d rather have this promo end than see these eBay sellers continue to profit thousands of dollars from it. Maybe you are not one of the eBay sellers, but I just cannot believe that you support these being sold on eBay. Clearly, if you think its okay to pay someone for a coupon full knowing that was obtained illegally and that the seller did not follow the promo rules. You have no business being on this site either. Only a MORON would pay that much for a coupon on eBay. Where are your morals.

  41. Nancy Says:

I think “hate you” has anger management issues and needs to grow up. I agree with frustrated. If you encourage these q’s to be sold on ebay. What the heck are you doing on this site?

  42. Samantah Says:

Well, I did get a $45 off $100 coupon last night, screen froze and never could get it to send to my email. So, I did a print screen. Finally, it totally kicked me out and went back to the ONW screen. At this point, thinking maybe customer service would help, I called them. I told them I had the screen shot to prove it, could email to someone and all, and was told that I would just have to “try again.” Yeah, right, the coupon was gone at this point. Sad thing is, it was my 8yo son who had been able to click on the heart to get it to begin with and he was so proud of himself and looking forward to getting to pick a few extras since he helped. So far, no one has helped me out, but I’m still hoping….

  43. Phantom1969 Says:

Hate you is the biggest moron of them all. Hackers and scripters still got all the coupons this week. They are just selling them somewhere else due to all the trouble. I wont tell you where they are being sold either you big stupid cow. I personally dont need a coupon. I enjoy the challenge. It must suck to be a broke needy moron. Hahaha!

  44. DriggerJ Says:

You people crack me up. This promotion is not for families in need. Old Navy could care less if you got laid off. They want sales, not some wefare mom shopping the half off clearance with a coupon. Get a job and pay for your stuff like everyone else!

  45. Me Says:

I just contacted Old Navy and they in no way endorse coupons being sold on ebay and state that those coupons sold on ebay are not guaranteed valid and for one person to accumulate that many coupons was not done legitimately. The rep I spoke with said that they will be taking action against those selling these on ebay. I even suggested to Old Navy that they should either make the ebay sellers donate all of the profits they made to a charity or work with ebay to eforce the sellers to issue refunds to all of the ebay buyers that purchased these coupons from them. Wouldn’t that be a hoot?

  46. hate you Says:

DriggerJ, you hit it on the nail. exactly my feeling.

these crying babies seems to think all the companies are there to give them free or nearly free stuff. they are the same people who are on bunch of boards, chats talking how to exploit some price mistake, stack multiple coupons and promotions together and get stuff for free or near free. these are the worst customers any company can have and no company would want to please these people who want to spend near nothing to get things.

this promotion has given everyone enough opportunities to getting good deals but it cannot guarantee best coupon every week to everyone.

As for buying ebay is concerned, i see no problem in that. just like you can hire cleaner to clean your house, mechanic to fix your car, neighbor kids to do your lawn, i see it as hiring people to get me a coupon. There really is no difference.

I bet people who buy coupons on ebay are not shopping just in clearance section and spending minimum. they are most likely the people who understand that they need to spend money to get things (as opposed to crying babies here who want everything for free). they are still profitable for old navy.

and anyone who wants old navy to end this promotion is nothing but a BIG JEALOUS poo poo pile..

  47. hate you Says:

just to be clear, i am not supporting someone who is doing illegal things to get the coupons. not sure what illegal means in this context but if someone is partnering with organizers and getting coupons that way or something along those lines, that would be considered illegal.
if someone is getting the coupons from the website just like others then thats fair.. if someone is taking multiples from the website, thats no different than people taking multiples from coupon pads in a grocery store.

  48. Hmmm Says:

After reading this entire page. I’ve come to the conclusion that hate you is a bipolar moron.

  49. Ha Ha!! Says:

I won’t say much about you Hate you…but it is VERY funny…how you play stupid with the coupons being sold on Ebay…? Yes the people on Ebay get 100+ coupons every week to themselves and they are doing it the same way as the rest of us. Those that couldn’t get one. Yes your right…you look very smart and the rest of us are the morons… And if you aren’t sure if what illegal means and how it’s being referred to…open a dictionary and read up…

  50. Cheap Says:

I dont think that any $65 off coupons were actually given out this week. None for sale on ebay, no one on SD announcing that they got them, and everywhere you look people are begging for them?

  51. Frustrated Says:

    Hmmm,
You are too funny. I laughed so hard when I saw your response to “hate you”. Thank you for making my day!!

  52. Lisa B. Says:

What I just read above is funny, because my local Old Navy is full of welfare cases every weekend. Its like they come out in droves to get 5 and 10 dollar clearance items. Not that clearance is bad, but these people just buy the clearance stuff, and a lot of it. And I agree, people who have money would not shop at Old Navy. Their clothes are made cheap, hence the cheap prices.

  53. Samantha Says:

Goodness. Lot of anger out there, huh??

  54. melina Says:

Samantha, there is a lot of anger out there because of the repeat offenders who are allowed to steal most of the valuable coupons and sell them on ebay. The people selling the large quantities are not doing it the same way as the rest of us, as most of us could only get one if any at all. My husband is working on figuring out how they are doing it. He is a computer programmer for a college and is proficient in scripting, and he is chatting with people in the know. If he figures out the way, we will forward what we learned to Old Navy and let them deal with it. If we come up with a good solution to limit the coupons to one per computer, we will forward that info as well. -Melina

  55. Applause Says:

Very well put Melina. I applaud you. I do wish your husband the very best in researching this further and we can only hope that this issue can be resolved before the promotion ends. I also hope that those ebay sellers will be penalized for their despicable actions. I and I’m sure I speak for most of the people on this thread, appreciate his efforts in trying to resolove this issue. Thank you.

  56. LOL Says:

ACTUALLY . . . . The chat room that I was in, some people were able to get a 65 coupon, therefore I know they were available. And all you people that are saying you are done with the hunting coupons and done with shopping at ON, please stop lying. I know come next Thrusday you will all be up on that damn site clicking like it was your job !!!

  57. Anne Says:

What I’ve come to realize is that everyone here is just jealous that they don’t get coupons. This week, there have been almost no $65 off coupons on eBay. Regardless of this fact, there are still a large amount of complaints about it happening!

All of you are ridiculous and need to grow up. Stop trying to point the finger at everyone else just because you didn’t get any good coupons. You’re all acting like babies and crying because you didn’t get something.

  58. Amy D Says:

We are not acting ridiculous!!! Have you even looked at Ebay lately? People are selling like 50-100 coupons apiece on there. There were only 2000 45 offs to begin with. If they hadn’t hogged all those, others who needed them would have gotten them. People are begging for shared coupons for sakes! I have a feeling that you are either an Ebay seller or another sarcastic Slickdealer. Both make me sick!

  59. Wakeup Anne Says:

Toad/Blue Sea/Mom’s Coupons/Ashtronics/Quali tech sold many $45’s on Ebay this week.

  64. SD'ers Says:

Hate you..Why dont you learn how coupons work befor you start jacking your jaws…Take a look in a K-mart, Meijer, Rite-Aid,CVS, Walgreens flyer once in a while…Have you ever noticed that the majority of items on sale each week have coupons and/or a rebate availiable for them? Stores want you to use manufacturers coupons as they are reimbursed for the value of the coupon plus .08 for each coupon. Manufacturers offer theese coupons to get consumers to purchase their products as a marketing tool so consumers try their product and hopefully like it enough to continue to purchase their product on a regular basis. You sound a bit upset that you arent intelligent enough to figure out theese deals yourself or are to lazy to search for their corresponding coupons. You were drawn to this website as a direct result of a valuable coupon, so how can you complain about others using them? Do you realize that as manufacturers are seeing an increase in coupon use they produce a higher amount of coupons…they want you to use them…if they didnt they wouldnt pay that kind of money to have them printed if they are just going to be placed in recycling bins across the nation. Obviously, us couponers arent the only ones in search of a good deal or you wouldnt be on this site! Hmmm…makes me wonder if you are one of those uninformed cashiers that think customers who utilize coupons are somehow stealing from your personal paycheck and begin hyperventillating when you have to scan a few coupons during your shift…just a hint…RELAX!! you get paid by the hour! And BTW some stay at home mothers utilize coupons so they can afford to stay home and raise their children themselves as oppose to working a part-time minimum wage job with no benefits as a grumpy cashier while their children are being raised by the sitter!

  65. LOL Says:

“Anonymous” there is no use in revealing information about them. And we can’t stop them either. So all you people are wasting your time and energy complaining about them.

  66. I agree with LOL Says:

    Quite a whiny bunch, eh?

  67. Disappointed Says:

If Toad224 (moms-coupons/quali-tech) is located in Bangladesh and not in the USA, how come his Ebay profile says that he’s located in the US? According to Ebay, sellers cannot misrepresent the item location from which their item will be shipped. Also, it’s against Ebay rules to provide false personal information. Is ashtronics and blue-sea-11 located in Bangladesh, too? If so, I hope they all get caught if they’re lying.

Earlier someone mentioned that toad224 or toadx is Robert Dong but when I google toadx, his name is linked to a Todd Hawkins so I’m suspecting that Hawkins is in this scheme together with Dong and the rest ashtronics and blue-sea-11.

Anonymous, you say these hackers that are stealing a large number of high valued coupons every week are computer experts so it’s possible that they are the ones working on this OldNavyWeekly promotion for Old Navy.

  68. Hmmmm..... Says:

It’s an inside job. Employees who work for cpb Group, the company that does Old Navy Weekly, have certain elements in common with Toad. They all have a twitter page, a gmail account, and a personal web site provided by the company for its employees. Toadx.com is registered to Todd Hawkins. Toad also has a twitter page and his coupons come from gmail. Suspicious…

  69. Lynda Says:

I can’t believe you guys are so jealous that you didn’t get any coupons. I looked on eBay for $65 off coupons, and I didn’t even see any! I’m surprised that this week there are so many complaints when these “hackers” didn’t even get any of the $65 off coupons.

“Oh my god! It’s not fair I didn’t get any Old Navy coupons!” Geez… you guys whine more than my 3 yo dd does.

  70. Gee Gee Says:

Lynda, they are selling the 45s on Ebay but the 65s they are selling it elsewhere due to all the controversy. I guess you were too busy doing your nails to notice.

Just because they didn’t get any good coupons doesn’t mean they are jealous.

And how do you know if these people are whining or not? And why would you care?

Now you’re the one whining. Thanks a lot!

  71. Get Real Says:

Personally, I think all of the above comments made, insisting that the people who did not win a $65 or $45 coupon are jealous and whining, are all comments made by the same poster. Just using different names and is an ebay seller that sells these coupons.

  72. MultiMom Says:

From what I’ve seen, there are groups of people that get together, share the secret locations of the coupons, and take them all. I’ve seen these groups getting together in chat rooms such as on the Slickdeal and Fatwallet websites. These people are terrible. They wait around all night for the coupons and don’t leave any for other people. It’s these same groups that get the coupons every time. After you get 1 good coupon, I think you should be banned from getting more coupons for a year.

  73. Geeeez Says:

MultiMom, I belong to several chatrooms and trust me, by the time the locations to the coupons are found, the guys running the scripts have taken most of the good coupons. Even the chatrooms can’t compete when the site freezes while the scripters siphon all of the coupons out in less than a minute. Maybe you should come join us to see for yourself. Who knows you might even make some new friends.

  74. AKC Says:

Lollerskates, how do you use that info?

  75. LOL Says:

Here is the truth…. Old Navy does not give a damn who is selling what on ebay or every other site because they are still getting their business. So whatever the customer service people for Old Navy are telling you on the phones, it is pure bullshitt.

  76. OHHHH NOOOO! Says:

Toad’s IRC is very busy. Everyone prepare to lose most of the good coupons again. I wouldn’t be surprised if everyone’s screen grays out again. He gets in there just before the site goes live. FYI, he takes this very seriously. :(

  77. OHHHH NOOOO! Says:

“LOL” is laughing in everyone’s face. Something Toad would do, btw.

  78. rascalkc Says:

    Hey Disappointed –
it’s also against eBay rules to sell coupons and deliver them electronically. Pretty sure following the rules isn’t the main concern of these guys.

  79. LOL Says:

Woah woah . . . I am not Toad, just to let you guys know. Personally think Toad is too busy making money to come here. I was one of those people complaining to ON and Ebay about this and know they didnt do anything about it from first hand experience so now I am just letting you all know its no use.

  80. getreal Says:

Gee Gee: you are full of it!! there are no 65 coupons that i could find. i you weer really saying truth, post the link and show.
I think you are just trying to make people angry by posting this false information knowing fully well that it is not correct.

the truth is this week there were no mass 65 coupons for sale and still so many people complain here about the scripters/hackers etc.

Given this, it is clear people will complain no matter what. whiny People have unreasonable expectations and they will complain no matter what.

OLD NAVY, PLEASE CONTINUE THE PROMOTION AS USUAL AND YOU DON’T HAVE TO LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE. THEY WILL COMPLAIN NO MATTER WHAT. EVEN IF YOU GIVE THEM A GOLD BAR THEY WILL COMPLAIN WHY ISN’T IT GIFT WRAPPED.

    Thanks

  81. Gee Gee Says:

A few days ago I saw a few 65s posted up on e-junkie, that’s why I thought they were selling it there. But there’s no doubt that they are selling the 45s on ebay. Also, I saw a couple of 65s posted on ebay a few days ago. I can’t post the links because the listings are not up there anymore.

Also, I only started seeing a lot of complaints when the hackers came into the scene, taking and selling coupons on ebay week after week. I guess people are complaining about it because Old Navy is doing nothing to stop it. I would be mad if toad and his other team of hackers prevented me from getting a good coupon. I admit it’s no fun coupon hunting anymore because by the time I try to get a good coupon, it’s gone and then I see people like toad selling a lot of them on ebay which is just disappointing.

Don’t tell me that the coupons toad and a few other big coupon sellers are selling are not ill-gotten because the high valued coupons are gone in like 2 minutes and there’s no way they can go through the process of clicking on the coupon and filling in personal information like 100 times in 2 minutes.

Mostly people complain because there’s a problem and they want it to be fixed. Don’t tell me if someone hacked into your account, you wouldn’t complain. If you didn’t complain to the company, then how do they suppose to know it’s a problem?
